Dawn is the author-illustrator of the picture books G My Name is Girl and B My Name is Boy (Doubleday for Young Readers/Penguin Random House). She is also an art director and graphic designer in film and television where she has worked on a wide range of projects from the Oscar nominated Beasts of the Southern Wild to HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. Her picture books take us around the world to many countries she has visited (Argentina, Egypt, Guatemala, Iceland, India…) and to many she dreams about exploring with her husband and two children. Though most of the time you can find her in a small town on the Hudson River just outside New York City.
